We are currently seeking diligent Warehouse Associates to join our growing logistics hub in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is vital for the smooth operation of our warehouse, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities related to inventory management and order fulfillment. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be instrumental in tasks such as receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and shipping. We are looking for individuals who are dependable, possess strong organizational skills, and prioritize safety above all else. Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive and inspect inbound shipments.
- Properly store and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Fulfill customer orders by accurately picking items.
- Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Operate warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks with care and efficiency.
- Keep the workspace clean, orderly, and safe at all times.
- Strictly follow all company safety guidelines and regulations, including the consistent use of PPE.
- Assist in conducting physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all established Lifting guidelines to minimize the risk of injury.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to achieve daily operational objectives within our logistics framework.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous.
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, and Lifting.
- Must be capable of Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and the necessity of PPE.
- Demonstrated reliability and a proactive approach to work.
- Basic knowledge of inventory control principles.
