We are looking for an enthusiastic Fulfillment Associate to join our busy New York City operations. In this role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and promptly. Your responsibilities will include picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment, as well as maintaining the tidiness and safety of the fulfillment center. This is a dynamic position within our logistics team, requiring a proactive approach and a commitment to excellence. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders using RF scanners.
- Package orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Process incoming shipments and accurately stock inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all warehouse safety regulations.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Participate in inventory counts and help maintain stock accuracy.
- Consistently use required PPE, such as safety glasses and gloves, to ensure personal safety.
- Be prepared for lifting and moving packages of various sizes and weights, applying proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals and support overall logistics efficiency.
- Identify and report any potential safety hazards or operational issues to management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by operational demands.
