Join our bustling Distribution Center Associate team in Minneapolis, Minnesota! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to contribute to the efficient flow of goods within our state-of-the-art facility. This role is fundamental to our supply chain, involving the handling of a wide variety of products, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. You'll work with a dedicated team focused on operational excellence in a fast-paced logistics environment. This position requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to handle physical tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment, adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners to manage inventory and track orders.
- Ensure proper use of PPE at all times, including safety vests, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
- Be prepared for lifting heavy items, often in collaboration with colleagues, following safe lifting techniques.
- Support overall logistics operations, including shipping and receiving processes.
- Identify and report any safety concerns or operational inefficiencies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Proven experience in a distribution or warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding role, involving standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Basic computer skills and experience with WMS are a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing operational needs.
