We are looking for reliable and physically capable individuals to manage the movement of goods within our warehouse. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to and from designated areas, and ensuring efficient flow of products throughout the facility. This role requires strength, stamina, and a keen awareness of your surroundings to ensure a safe working environment. You will operate various types of material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, after appropriate training and certification. A strong emphasis is placed on adherence to safety standards; you are required to follow all safety procedures diligently and utilize the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position involves significant lifting, moving, and stacking of materials, so a good level of physical fitness is essential. We value individuals who are team players, possess a strong work ethic, and are committed to contributing to the smooth operation of our warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers
- Transport materials to and from various warehouse locations
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
- Stack, store, and organize materials in designated areas
- Inspect equipment for damage or malfunction before use
- Assist with inventory counts and material tracking
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and use required PPE
