You will be responsible for tracking inventory levels, identifying discrepancies, and implementing strategies to maintain optimal stock conditions. Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and timely cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
- Ensure the integrity of data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures.
- Monitor stock rotation and identify overstock or out-of-stock situations.
- Analyze inventory data to support demand planning and logistics decisions.
- Oversee the proper organization and storage of inventory to minimize damage.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth inventory flow.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Recommend improvements to inventory management processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in WMS software and inventory tracking systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to handle light to moderate lifting, up to 25 lbs.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and the correct use of PPE.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
