Position Summary

The CSS Parts Sales Representative is primarily responsible for the quoting, sale, delivery and invoicing of customer spare parts as well as maintaining all documentation related to this support. This person will also perform any tasks assigned by the Director of Customer Service.


Responsibilities

  • Provide customer quotes via phone and email to a variety of product markets.
  • Address all customer requests and orders in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with clients in e-mail, letters, phone calls, etc.
  • Assist customers in identifying part numbers, kits, or assembly numbers from various technical documentation.
  • Track and/or expedite all customer sales orders, when required.
  • Correspond with the Planning and Supply Chain personnel for the delivery and status of outstanding purchase orders.
  • Participate in cross training within CSS Department to ensure expected levels of customer service are maintained during employee absences.
  • Ensure export control requirements, when required, are adhered to when shipping parts.
  • Maintain and update standard product pricing on all parts quoted.
  • Manage discount levels from various inputs and markets, as directed by Business Development
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Comply with all company rules and policies.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties in the best interest of the company or as directed by the Supervisor.





Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One-year data entry must be computer proficient and have the ability to adapt to a variety of software applications.
  • Ability to read and understand contracts, blueprints, operating manuals, letters of credits, domestic and International shipping documents.
  • Ability to perform basic calculations.
  • Ability to communicate with others, both orally and written.
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizen or qualified U.S. Person in accordance with ALU 22CFR 120.15. May require the ability to obtain DOD security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer Service experience working with customers by phone/email in a high volume & fast paced environment.
  • Experience with Infor CSI ERP software.
  • Some college coursework.

Physical Requirements

1. Must have the following physical abilities:

Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, reach, and lift.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods at a desk or table as well as machine tools or printers.
