As a Senior Mobile Device Engineer, you’ll be a technical leader within our MDM Platform & Mobile Device Team, owning the delivery and optimisation of enterprise mobile services. Acting as a technical expert in this field, you will support the design, implementation, and improvement of our processes and technologies, ensuring compliance, resilience, and alignment with Architectural designs and principals, in particular Zero Trust. What You’ll Be Doing
Working with the MDM Platform & Mobile Device Lead on the deployment, optimisation, and management of mobile devices via Workspace ONE, ensuring scalability, compliance, and automation. Acting as SME for Android (primary) and iOS mobile device services (Android Enterprise and Workspace ONE) Owning OS updates, app deployments, compliance policies, and security hardening Providing technical leadership across projects, integrations, and device refreshes Mentoring and supporting mobile engineers and trainees Ensuring adherence to Zero Trust, ISO/IEC 27001 and ITIL-aligned processes Qualifications
What we are looking for: Strong expertise in Workspace ONE / Modern Management platforms Deep knowledge of managing deployments using Android Enterprise, Samsung KNOX, and Google Zero Touch Experience working within ITIL-aligned environments A good understanding of Android Enterprise (Fully managed, work profiles (COPE/BYOD) devices) Experience with mobile lifecycle management (provisioning, patching, and decommissioning) Experience working in an environment with incident/change management/problem (e.g. ITIL) Awareness of enterprise security models, Zero Trust, and vulnerability management Current, valid Security Clearance (SC) to be transferred to Zero Plus Ltd. Desirable skills
Expertise in Omnissa Workspace ONE, with experience in enterprise-scale deployments. SCEP/PKI exposure for device posture signals checking. Experience of working in UK Government or regulated sectors. Advanced knowledge of iOS operating systems and experience using Apple Business Manager (ABM) to manage Apple devices. Exposure to compliance frameworks (ISO, NIST, Cyber Essentials).
