SmartHire is looking for a Quality Supervisor for a client in Redmond WA. Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of Supervisory experience within a cGMP environment (food or similar), ISO 22000 and a food safety guidelines. Strong analytical and problem solving skills needed. This is a Full Time, Direct Hire role.
Salary: $80k-$85k DOE

Quality Supervisor The Quality Supervisor leads the Quality Assurance team in Washington and reports to the Global Quality Director. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System and Food Safety Plans while driving continuous improvement and day-to-day QA execution. The Quality Supervisor partners closely with plant leadership and serves as the primary contact for audits, inspections, and quality investigations.
Key Responsibilities Lead and support QA team daily operations Ensure compliance with QMS, Food Safety Plans, and regulatory requirements Maintain certifications (FSSC 22000, Kosher, Halal) Serve as PCQI and lead food safety programs Review and approve batch records and manufacturing documentation Oversee material disposition and quality testing activities Lead audit readiness, audits, and inspection responses Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective/preventive actions Manage change controls, SOPs, and quality training Monitor quality metrics and report to leadership
Qualifications Bachelors degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience 2+ years in a cGMP-regulated environment (food, ingredients, or similar) Experience with ISO 22000 audits and food safety systems Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills Ability to work cross-functionally and influence at all levels
Requirements Authorized to work in the U.S. Able to pass background check Able to work in a manufacturing environment (standing, lifting, noise, PPE) English proficiency required
