Workato Integration Developer

About the Role

We're seeking an Integration Engineer with strong Workato experience to support automation and integration initiatives. This person will be responsible for designing and delivering Workato recipes, supporting existing workflows, and enabling cross-system data flows for key business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain Workato integrations across systems such as Salesforce, Netsuite and other SaaS tools.
• Translate requirements from business stakeholders into scalable, production-ready Workato recipes.
• Troubleshoot and remediate integration issues with minimal supervision.
• Document workflows, data mappings, dependencies, and operational runbooks.
• Partner with internal technical teams to ensure API alignment, data integrity, and best practices.
• Evaluate and experiment with emerging Workato features—especially Workato Agent Studio, Workato Go, and Workato MCP servers

Qualifications

Required

• 3–5+ years in integration engineering, automation engineering, or business systems work.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Workato, including complex logic, error handling, and cross-system architecture.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication patterns, and data transformation.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and work with incomplete or evolving requirements.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with Workato SDK and building custom connectors.
• Familiarity with Workato agentic AI or other AI-driven automation tools.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems like Salesforce, Netsuite, or HRIS platforms.
• Light scripting experience (Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
