Department of Water Resources (DWR) was established in 1956 by the California State Legislature. We manage California's water resources, systems, and infrastructure, including the State Water Project, in a responsible sustainable way.

Special Requirements

Must have ability to ascend/descend stairs, slopes and ladders to enter or exit vaults and structures as required for equipment access. Must possess a valid California Driver's License, class C, and operate vehicles on public roadways or travel to remote areas. Ability to move 30 pounds.

Employee is required to successfully complete all safety training related to the functions of the job.

Must be capable of operating a personal computer as use of word processor, spreadsheet, database and cad software is necessary to perform the requirements of this position.
