The Dental Assistant will assist dentist in delivery of patient care.

The Dental Assistant

• Assists dentist in delivery of patient care.
• Organizes dental clinic equipment and materials.
• Coordinates operating room cases and assists staff dentists.
• Enhances professional development through participating in in-services and continuing education programs.
• Communicates with physicians, dentists, nursing staff, and ancillary hospital personnel, patients and patients' families.

Education: High school or equivalent.

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Virginia Dental Radiation Safety certificate; AHA BLS-HCP required.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
