Crew Leader/Mover

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Crew Leader to oversee our team in delivering exceptional service and ensuring operational efficiency. The Crew Leader will be responsible for managing daily activities, coordinating routes, and leading a team in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and experience with various driving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate daily routes for efficient delivery and pick-up operations.
• Operate box trucks and other vehicles safely while adhering to traffic regulations.
• Assist team members with heavy lifting and moving tasks as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to ensure safety and functionality.
• Train new team members on operational procedures, safety protocols, and equipment handling.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory, and vehicle maintenance logs.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Skills

• Proven experience in courier services or commercial driving is preferred.
• Ability to drive box trucks and operate manual transmission vehicles safely.
• Experience with route driving and logistics management is a plus.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving tasks.
• Proficient in operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Excellent communication skills for effective team leadership.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges on the job efficiently.
