General Labor Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labor Driver to join our dynamic team This energetic role combines the responsibilities of manual labor with professional driver. As a key player in our transportation and warehouse functions, you will be responsible for safely operating various commercial vehicles, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring timely deliveries. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in active environments, enjoy driving, and possess a strong work ethic. Duties

• Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles including box trucks, flatbeds, dump trucks and trailers.
• Load and unload freight using pallet jacks,, or manual handling techniques while adhering to safety standards
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure mechanical safety and report any issues promptly
• Assist with moving heavy equipment or materials within warehouses or job sites as needed
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and communication records throughout each shift
• Follow established routes and schedules efficiently while maintaining excellent communication with dispatch and team members
• Support warehouse operations by organizing inventory, preparing shipments, and ensuring the workspace remains safe and clean

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving
• Strong knowledge of driving safety protocols
• Mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshooting mechanical issue.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members, dispatchers, and customers
• Physical stamina to load/unload freight, move heavy objects, and perform manual labor tasks regularl.
• Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type being operated.

Pay: $ $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
