We are seeking a dedicated and personable Auto Collision Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional support to customers throughout the collision repair process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced body shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers professionally and assist with inquiries regarding collision repair services
- Schedule customer appointments and fill, manage, and maintain the shop production schedule to ensure steady workflow and timely vehicle repairs
- Coordinate closely with technicians and management to maximize shop efficiency
- Answer customer questions via phone, email, and in person with clear and courteous communication
- Enter and maintain accurate customer and repair information using Microsoft Office and shop management software
- Make outbound calls to provide repair updates and gather customer feedback
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately when required
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure high customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and workflow
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong phone etiquette
- Strong customer service mindset and professional demeanor
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable; English is required
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or call center environments preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills
- Accurate data entry skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience with outbound calling and customer follow-ups is a plus
- Ability to assess customer needs and provide effective solutions
- Comfortable handling cash transactions when needed
