Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across various production lines. Your expertise will ensure optimal operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), variable frequency drives(VDFs), sensors, and high-voltage systems, in a fast-paced environment dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, calibrations, and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment using precision measuring instruments and schematics.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues across low voltage and high voltage systems, utilizing tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
  • Install, modify, and repair electrical wiring, control panels, sensors, motors, and automation systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, AutoCAD drawings, and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment such as vision inspection systems and other manufacturing automation tools.
  • Conduct service activities on-site to resolve complex electrical issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with mechanical teams to integrate electrical components with hydraulics and mechanical systems for seamless operation.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system modifications to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an industrial electrician or electrical technician within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, sensors, calibration techniques, and mechanical systems relevant to industrial maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and variable frequency drives (VDFs).
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD for reading schematics and creating technical drawings.
  • Ability to work safely with high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as ohmmeters, multimeters, calipers, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills combined with strong customer service orientation when interacting with internal teams or external clients.
