Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining visual appeal
• Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and merchandising to ensure product availability
• Apply phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely, ensuring clear and friendly communication
• Support supervising staff with daily tasks such as cashiering, stock management, and customer service initiatives

Experience

• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; enthusiasm and willingness to learn
• Bilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse customer needs effectively
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math ensures smooth transactions
• Experience in smoke shop or similar retail environments is advantageous for understanding fast-paced settings
• Demonstrated strong communication skills to engage customers confidently and professionally
• Supervising experience is beneficial for those interested in leadership development within retail teams
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and moving merchandise efficiently
