Senior Data Analyst – Reporting & Automation

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with a strong focus on reporting automation, data pipelines, and business-facing analytics to support critical subscriber reporting initiatives within a large, consumer-facing streaming platform environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys transforming manual, Excel-based reporting into scalable, automated solutions and delivering clear, accurate insights to a broad set of stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain end-to-end automated reporting solutions for ongoing business needs
• Partner with stakeholders to gather and document data requirements
• Develop complex SQL queries to support accurate and compliant subscriber reporting
• Use Python (or R) to automate reports, scheduled emails, and recurring dashboards
• Integrate data quality checks into pipelines to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Create clear, easy-to-understand dashboards and visualizations for non-technical audiences
• Develop a strong understanding of subscriber data infrastructure
• Help design resilient reporting systems that minimize data incidents

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics or reporting roles
• 3+ years of hands-on SQL experience, especially within ETL or pipeline workflows
• 3+ years of Python (or R) scripting experience
• Experience automating manual Excel-based reporting processes
• Familiarity with Snowflake or similar analytical data warehouses, GitHub, and Google App Scripts
• Experience with Looker and/or Tableau
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain analytical concepts to diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced data visualization tools (D3, Streamlit)
• Working knowledge of statistics (hypothesis testing, regression, etc.)
• Familiarity with Airflow
• Experience building or prototyping tools from scratch
• Advanced degree in a related field

Education

• Bachelor's degree in an analytical or quantitative field
