We are a trauma-informed group of therapists who provide psychotherapeutic services to trauma survivors and adult survivors of childhood abuse.

The Ideal Candidate

✓ Associate Trauma Therapist interested in Private Practice in Ventura, CA and who is HIGHLY interested in working with trauma survivors.

✓ Willing to work in-office.

✓ Resides in Ventura County, no more than 20 miles outside of Ventura, 93030.

✓ Willing to dedicate 32-42hours per week.

✓ Willing to conduct 25 client sessions a week.

This position is for therapists seeking:

✓ Monday through Friday schedule (Saturdays if you like)

✓ Options to meet with clients as early as 7 am or as late as 6 pm.

✓ CA competitive pay rate of $40 to $42 an hour depending on amount of BBS hours completed.

✓ An hourly rate of $20 / hour for your supervision, progress notes and trainings.

3. Training in working with Sexual Trauma, Dissociative Disorders, Complex Trauma, Emotion Focused Therapy for Couples and other trainings paid by Irimiya.

4. Train and apply IFS (parts work) skills and Somatic Therapy

5. Long-term clinical care with your clients

6. Learn the business side of being in private practice (they didn't teach us in grad school)

7. You're clients can go with you to your own private practice once you are licensed and ready to be in your own

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must live in Ventura or within 20 miles of Ventura, CA
• Master's degree required in Clinical Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, or related;
• License-eligible Associate MFT and current, unrestricted registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
• Minimum of 500 BBS hours
• Ability to use electronic/digital devices and applications for long, uninterrupted periods of time
• Passionate about working with sexual trauma survivors, and clients who have dissociative disorders.
• Must be able to build up to/carry a minimum caseload of 25 clients per week (combination of online and in-person)
• Must be culturally sensitive and want to specialize in working with C-PTSD
• Able to conduct private telehealth sessions remotely with own computer and strong wifi/data
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) HIGHLY desired, but not required

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Provide behavioral/mental health services individual, group, and or family therapy modalities and develops mental health treatment plans
• Participate in meetings, providing client case conceptualization
• Attend weekly supervision
• Ensure supportive, nurturing, and therapeutic support to client and families
• Timely documentation of services provided
• Be able to provide exceptional care via Telehealth and or in office
• Maintain licensure
• Consult as needed for clinical services with supervisor
• Develop skills to discuss financial issues affecting attending session
• Maintain a diversity perspective in all work
• Build an alliance that promotes healing in the client
• Maintain professional boundaries with clients at all times
• Maintain thorough treatment records in a timely manner
• Comply with confidentiality and HIPPA requirements

X Therapists with more than 2000 BBS hours.

We are looking for dedicated and committed therapists that are looking to stay at least a year, hopefully more. Every associate that has worked with us and become licensed has stayed on as a licensed therapist until they were ready to launch their own practice.
