Job Description Summary

The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for reporting fringe benefits to the Unions based on a contractual agreement as well as reporting Certified Payroll and Prevailing Wages. This role involves collaborating with various departments to gather and process payroll data, analyzing labor contracts, and staying updated on union regulations. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and interpret labor contract to ensure payroll practices align with union agreements.

  • Act as liaison between Legal, HR, and Union Reporting team.

  • Partner with HRT to identify reporting needs.

  • Stay abreast of changes in union regulations and advise on potential impact to payroll processing.

  • Look for gaps for process improvements.

  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee information.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of payroll data to identify trends, anomalies, ad opportunities for improvement.

  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.

  • Respond to union inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and benefits in a timely and professional manner.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 3-5 years related work experience.

  • Certification in Payroll (i.e., CPP, FPC) preferred.
