Job Description Summary:
A Round Table Team Member is responsible for a variety of tasks, including food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. They may be involved in tasks like taking orders, operating the cash register, prepping ingredients, cooking food, and cleaning the dining area.
As a Team Member, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills, provide exceptional service, and contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
· Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, taking orders, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
· Take customer orders and accurately enter them into the POS system.
· Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company standards.
· Upsell additional items or promotions to increase sales.
· Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawers.
· Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes as needed.
· Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant.
· Assisting with food preparation tasks, including assembling burgers, fries, and other menu items.
· Maintaining a clean and organized dining area, including cleaning tables, restrooms, and other areas.
· Assisting with stocking and restocking supplies, ensuring adequate quantities of ingredients and supplies are available.
· Helping other team members with their tasks, as needed, to ensure smooth operations.
· Adhering to safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handwashing and food handling procedures.
· Adhering to all company policies and procedures, including those related to food preparation, customer service, and safety.
QualificationsQualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
· High School Diploma – GED minimum required.
· Food Handlers, TABC Certification required.
· Prior experience in food service or customer service is a plus.
· Exceptional customer service and relationship-building abilities.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact with customers and team members.
· Proficiency in retail math for cash handling and transactions
· Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
· Culinary skills for food preparation and presentation
· Willingness to help out in various areas of the restaurant as needed
