About the Role

As a Parking Lot Sweeper Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining commercial properties by operating sweeper trucks, performing light manual labor, and ensuring parking lots are clean, safe, and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Operations: Drive a sweeper truck to assigned locations and use tools like a backpack blower, push broom, and shovel to clear trash and debris.
• Pre-Trip Inspections: Check oil levels, tire pressure, and lights to ensure safety and operability.
• Trash Management: Empty garbage cans, sweep parking areas, and dump debris from the truck at designated sites.
• Record Keeping: Complete paperwork at the end of each shift and log tasks accurately.
• Route Management: Navigate efficiently using maps and driving directions while maintaining adherence to traffic laws.
• Equipment Care: Report maintenance needs, refuel trucks, and ensure equipment is kept in excellent working condition.

Qualifications & Skills

• Training Provided: Supervisors will train you on-site until you are ready to work independently.
• Physical Readiness: Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb in and out of equipment, and work in outdoor environments with exposure to dirt, dust, and noise.
• Customer Focus: Strong communication skills and a positive attitude to provide excellent service.
• Requirements:
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (last 5 years).
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
