Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team You will lead a contracted class of up to 15 students through the school year, with an assistant, assessing their current academic level, using creative curriculum to meet students' collective and individual needs.

You are passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum (Creative Curriculum)
• Teach beginning reading and math skills
• Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
• Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
• Communicate with parents and other school personnel
• Assess students' skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones

Qualifications

• State teaching Certification, P-3 certification
• Preferably familiar with the Creative Curriculum and strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
• Problem-solving and mediation skills
