HR Generalist - Allies of Skin

Allies of Skin is seeking an HR Generalist to support the day-to-day execution of people operations in a fast-growing, founder-led environment. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong HR foundation who enjoys wearing multiple hats and wants to grow as the company scales.

You'll partner closely with leadership and an external HR advisory firm to ensure smooth operations across onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits administration, compliance, and office support.

What You'll Do

• Support the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, benefits, and payroll coordination
• Partner with our PEO on benefits enrollment, employee questions, and compliance support
• Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communications, and offer logistics
• Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure onboarding steps are completed accurately and on time
• Maintain employee records with discretion and attention to detail
• Support performance review and compensation cycles through coordination and tracking
• Serve as the in-office HR point of contact during on-site days
• Support office operations, internal events, and employee engagement initiatives
• Partner with an external HR advisory firm on audits, projects, and process improvements

What we're looking for:

• 4–6 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or a Generalist role
• Hands-on experience with onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination, and recruiting support
• Familiarity with HRIS systems, PEO environments, and modern workplace tools
• Strong organizational skills and comfort juggling multiple priorities
• Professional, discreet, and employee-first mindset
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
