Mobile Property Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
YQC Properties is hiring an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician to service residential and multifamily properties throughout the Vancouver, WA and Portland metro area. This is a field-based position for a self-motivated technician who takes pride in quality work and professional resident interactions. A company vehicle is provided

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair work across multiple properties
• Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC (basic), drywall, painting, flooring, and appliances
• Complete assigned work orders efficiently and professionally
• Communicate clearly with residents, property managers, and dispatch staff
• Document work completed using maintenance software
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs beyond scope
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule shared among maintenance technicians

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of verifiable residential or multifamily property maintenance experience
• Strong working knowledge of general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, flooring, appliances, and basic HVAC
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex maintenance issues independently
• Prior experience using maintenance or work order software (AppFolio preferred)
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to work independently across multiple properties with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills with residents, property managers, and vendors
• Professional, resident-friendly demeanor
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company standards
• Must supply personal standard hand tools. specialty tools will be provided
• Able to pass standard criminal backround check
• Able to trouble shoot, create task list and complete repairs of vacant units

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
