Full-Time Resort Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are an oceanfront resort seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of how maintenance directly affects guest experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance in guest rooms and common areas to reduce repeat issues.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, painting, and mechanical systems.
• Respond to guest-impacting maintenance issues with urgency and professionalism.
• Maintain the pool and hot tub, including routine cleaning, water testing, and chemical adjustments.
• Complete daily property upkeep related to safety, cleanliness, and resort appearance.
• Document repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Follow safety standards and resort maintenance procedures.

Skills & Requirements:

• Proven maintenance experience (resort, hotel, or similar property preferred).
• Able to work independently and complete tasks without constant supervision.
• Physically able to lift, climb, bend, and work indoors and outdoors.
• Strong communication skills in English for guest and team interaction.
• Reliable attendance and consistent follow-through.
• Weekend availability required; occasional holidays, evenings, and overtime as needed.
• Valid driver's license.
• Relevant certifications preferred but not required.

Pay: $ $27.00 per hour
