Job Title: Wash Attendant/ Maintenance Crew
SUMMARY: As an acting member of Waterdrops Express Car Wash, the responsibility of a Wash Attendants is to perform the daily operational practices of running the car wash facility. Attendants ensure that each customer consistently receives a clean, dry, and shiny vehicle.

Work Context

• Work Setting - Position requires average amounts of physical activity in an outdoor car wash setting.
• Environmental Conditions -Potential exposure to car wash chemicals and incoming and outgoing traffic throughout the day. Conditions are hazardous, and the position requires candidates to be alert at all times. Candidates must follow our safety policy for PPE use, as some conditions that may be hazardous.
• Job Hazards - Must adhere to all safety rules, policies and regulations in relationship to OSHA and Waterdrops Equipment standards (including but not limited to Slip/trips/falls, Sprains & Strains, Vehicle Movement, Machinery/Equipment Exposure, Heat Exposure)
• Body Positioning - Ability to intermittently and repeatedly bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull, or do fine manipulations, and stand for prolonged periods. Ability to lift or move items of light to heavy weight, up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
• Position requires regularly walking, standing, using hands, reaching with hands and arms. Position requires peripheral vision, ability to see color, ability to adjust focus, distance vision, close vision
• Work Attire -Position requires a uniform including black or khaki pants, company provided blue polo shirt, non-slip shoes, company provided name-tag and access card.
• Routine versus Challenging Work-Position is fast-paced at times and involves work that is dependent on the weather.
• Pace and Scheduling -Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, is required. Schedules may change based on business needs at the Store Manager's discreti

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

• Guide cars into the wash area with a focused, pleasant, and competent demeanor
• Must be able to operate the control board and have a complete understanding of all overrides to adjust wash per vehicle as needed
• Be proficient with all policies and procedures and able to perform them on a daily basis as needed.
• Regularly maintain cleanliness within the tunnel, as well as throughout the outside portion of the establishment.
• Emptying trash cans
• Sweeping out parking lot
• Install or take down vacuum hoses at the beginning or end of the day
• Perform regular visual inspections of all equipment and report to the manager with immediate concerns.
• Keep the entire property spotlessly clean and ensure everything is kept in the proper place and organized.
• Assist customers when they need help with Vending Machine
• Be polite and available to address all customer concerns and handle them in a professional manner that is satisfactory to both the customer and to the car wash.
