Heavy Construction Foreman

JURICH INC. is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Foreman to become a part of our team. We perform heavy civil construction and heavy maintenance work throughout the Delaware Valley.

5 years' experience in this role required.

Responsibilities Include:

• Ability to lead crew of about 5 team members efficiently and safely to complete tasks on time and on budget.

• Communicate hazards to team, and setup daily safety plan

• Control work site, ensure proper perimeter controls and cleanliness of work area each day

• Order materials

General Abilities

• Proficiency with large 14" demo saws and chain saws

• Basic rigging and tie-downs

• Ability to drive trucks with trailers

• Ability to operate small hand tools (air compressors, saws, drills, etc)

• Align and fasten lumber for various needs (formwork, staging, pipe supports, etc)

Utility installation/Maintenance:

• Gravity sanitary sewer installation (experience up to 48" mains)

• Sewer Force main installation (experience up to 66" force mains)

• Water main installation (experience with up to 24" mains)

• Storm Sewer piping and system installation (experience up to 48" mains)

• Manhole cleaning and repairs

Pavement Installation

• Subbase preparation to plan grades

-Asphalt patching and preparation

• Concrete roadway patching and preparation

• sidewalk patching and preparation

Earthwork operations

• measure grade stakes, check grades, pull stringlines

• install erosion and sediment controls

• clean and maintain site controls

• install final stabilization materials (seed/hay/mulch blankets)

Specialty

• install shoring systems

• deep excavations

• pump stations maintenance, repairs and construction

• Demolition – complete, turnkey, interior, hand demo, selective.

Safety

• OSHA 10/ OSHA 30 trained

• Confined Space

• Trenching Competent Person
