Auto Mechanic

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of automotive systems and be proficient in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues. This role requires expertise in diesel engine repair, powertrain maintenance, and familiarity with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). The Automotive Mechanic will work with both hand and power tools to ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and performing at their best.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and alignments.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
• Repair or replace damaged parts using hand tools and power tools effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques to enhance service delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with a strong understanding of automotive service practices.
• Proficiency in diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
• Experience with powertrain maintenance and repairs.
• Familiarity with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using both hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.
