Auto Body Repair Technician

Job description:

The ABRA Auto Body teams recently joined the Iverson Auto Group lineup of automotive solutions in Mitchell. We are a growing shop seeking Auto Body Repair Technicians as team members that will provide customers with the best quality work and service in the auto body industry.

Responsibilities:

• Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.
• Check parts against estimate and ensures proper parts were ordered and received.
• Documents and additional parts and labor required to perform a satisfactory repair. Notifies management of any additional repairs needed.
• Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal equipment.
• Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.
• Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• I-CAR Certification, preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Teammate with collaborative mindset.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
