Sales Supervisor
The Sales Supervisor will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets and ensuring an exceptional customer experience within our retail store. The successful candidate will lead a team of sales associates, fostering a culture of excellence, customer service and will be responsible for implementing effective sales tactics to drive store revenue growth.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain exceptional performance in sales associate duties
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to ensure team members meet and exceed sales goals.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and individual success.
- In coordination with management, implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Collaborate with the management team to create and execute promotions and events that drive foot traffic and sales.
- Ensure an unparalleled customer experience through excellent product knowledge, service, and engagement.
- Resolve customer issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the overall store ambiance.
- Track individual and team performance against sales targets.
- Provide regular reports to management on sales metrics, trends, and team achievements.
- Ensure incentive programs to motivate and reward high-performing team members are being followed.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to manage stock levels and ensure product availability.
- Supervise inventory control measures to minimize losses and discrepancies.
- Maintain and apply company's procedures and policies at all times
- Maintain appropriate physical and apparel appearance utilizing uniform standards approved by retail management
- Direct opening and closing procedures; delegate tasks to sales associates
- Perform cash handling, reconciliation, credit card processing, and banking duties
- Enforce compliance with safety policies and regulations
- Communicate with upper management regarding operations and personnel
- Report on employee attendance, productivity, and daily operations
- Assist with the weekly Retail Update report, providing insights and feedback to the manager or sending on their behalf if they are absent.
- Collaborate with the management team to facilitate client engagement initiatives, including special store events, exclusive VIP experiences, bespoke holiday and birthday gifts, and developing grassroots community activities.
Required Skills/Abilities and Qualifications:
- Four+ years of retail sales experience preferably within a luxury retail environment
- Demonstrated success in leadership role
- Passion of delivering exceptional customer service
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be a strong team player, punctual, and excellent attendance record
- Ability to multi-task, and prioritize tasks
- Strong professional and personable demeanor
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in computer skills Microsoft Office Suite, Mac, PC
- Familiar with POS terminals, tablets, phone
- Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Must sign an NDA
Physical Requirements:
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time, physically mobile; can lift up to 20 pounds
