This position is under the employment of Dickey's Barbecue Pit. The role involves packing and picking up product from Dickey's locations and delivering to DFW International Airport and Dallas Love Field Airport while following all safety standards and protocols.

Duties

• Safely operate various delivery vehicles, following all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload food products efficiently
• Plan optimal delivery routes to ensure prompt service and maximize efficiency
• Deliver orders accurately to DFW, providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude
• Handle heavy lifting and moving of food supplies, ensuring proper handling to maintain quality and safety standards
• Maintain detailed records of deliveries, including route logs and delivery confirmations
• Communicate effectively with store management and store leaders of delivery locations to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar transportation role involving route driving
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage professionally with clients at their locations
• Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform physical tasks related to moving supplies safely
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety protocols, and best practices for commercial driving
• Excellent navigation skills for route planning and real-time adjustments during deliveries
