Job Description:
BCS Allegient provides technically oriented services from program management to advanced systems integration and engineering. BCS Allegient is a leader in advanced technology research and solutions development, and we are growing quickly. We are looking for a Sr. Program Engineer – Manufacturing Technology to support our team at the Office of Naval Research.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist the Program Manager with management and oversight of program objectives.
- Provide technical support and coordinate conferences, demonstrations, expositions, events, meetings, technical reviews, etc.
- Maintaining briefings; and assisting in coordinating input for data calls, such as budget exhibit submissions, congressional requests for information and budgetary drills.
- Support technical liaison activities with senior officials in other departments, services/agencies, government laboratories, academia, and industry.
- Support in special studies and technology advisory panels, as required.
- Assist in developing and maintaining key documents and master plans that incorporate all relevant studies and analyses.
- Support technical management of programs including acquisition plan development, representation of the government project manager where required, and assessment of performance in terms of technical objectives, costs and schedule.
- Support the management and execution of programs by updating Task Planning Sheets, Mission Model Canvas sheets, quad sheets, Fact Sheets and drafting portfolio review slides.
- Assist in the development of databases for technical and programmatic tracking of key deliverables and milestones.
- Assist in the preparation of program status reports and after-action reports following major program reviews or key events, as required.
Job Requirements:
- Current SECRET Clearance or the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance prior to award;
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and fifteen (15) years of experience working in and detailed knowledge of the DoD industrial base programs;
- Fifteen (15) years of experience in development of policy and procedures, identification of industrial requirements, and DoD manufacturing technology analysis;
- Recent knowledge of DoD acquisition and budgeting process; and, Recent knowledge of the organizations, personnel, and procedures within the DoD, other government agencies and industry which deal with DoD manufacturing technology.
