Job Description:

BCS Allegient provides technically oriented services from program management to advanced systems integration and engineering. We support Government and prime system integrators with engineering and management expertise. We are looking for a Sr. Program Engineer – Manufacturing Technology to support our team at the Office of Naval Research.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist the Program Manager with management and oversight of program objectives.
• Provide technical support and coordinate conferences, demonstrations, expositions, events, meetings, technical reviews, etc.
• Maintaining briefings; and assisting in coordinating input for data calls, such as budget exhibit submissions, congressional requests for information and budgetary drills.
• Support technical liaison activities with senior officials in other departments, services/agencies, government laboratories, academia, and industry.
• Support in special studies and technology advisory panels, as required.
• Assist in developing and maintaining key documents and master plans that incorporate all relevant studies and analyses.
• Support technical management of programs including acquisition plan development, representation of the government project manager where required, and assessment of performance in terms of technical objectives, costs and schedule.
• Support the management and execution of programs by updating Task Planning Sheets, Mission Model Canvas sheets, quad sheets, Fact Sheets and drafting portfolio review slides.
• Assist in the development of databases for technical and programmatic tracking of key deliverables and milestones.
• Assist in the preparation of program status reports and after-action reports following major program reviews or key events, as required.

Job Requirements:

• Current SECRET Clearance or the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance prior to award;
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and fifteen (15) years of experience working in and detailed knowledge of the DoD industrial base programs;
• Fifteen (15) years of experience in development of policy and procedures, identification of industrial requirements, and DoD manufacturing technology analysis;
• Recent knowledge of DoD acquisition and budgeting process; and, Recent knowledge of the organizations, personnel, and procedures within the DoD, other government agencies and industry which deal with DoD manufacturing technology.
