Lead Dispatcher

Dixon Bros., Inc. is seeking an individual to fill the position of Lead Dispatcher in Mandan, North Dakota. The job requires the candidate to handle the daily dispatch of multiple trucks from the Mandan, North Dakota terminal. Review and proof completed freight bill and forward completed freight bills to the main office for processing. This position requires the individual to be in the terminal on scheduled work days and be available to accept calls during off hours.

Duties include:

• Being able to communicate with customers to accept loads
• Be able to dispatch loads and communicate effectively with drivers
• Candidates must be able to accurately complete and review paperwork
• Monitor customer inventory
• Monitor Drivers Hours of Service and submit for payroll
• Candidate will be trained in the use of our E-log software

Candidate Requirements include:

• Ability to provide superior customer service
• Ability to multitask and possess critical thinking skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize daily tasks
• Work with other departments within the Company to resolve issues
• Leadership skills
• Working knowledge of FMCSA regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills a must
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with Google Drive is preferred
