Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
• Uphold food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in accordance with health regulations
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
• Support host/host duties when necessary, including seating guests and managing reservations
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the restaurant's menu, wine list, and daily specials to assist guests effectively

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and reservations management
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest satisfaction
• Ability to handle food safely with proper food handling, sanitation, and food preparation practices
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
• Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
• Familiarity with food industry standards related to serving, bussing, cleaning, and kitchen support roles
• Strong communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with team members and guests alike
• Knowledge of the local hospitality scene including open table reservations systems and fine dining protocols

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $6.75 - $6.80 per hour

Work Location: In person
