Pay Range: $40,000 – $70,000 per year (Commensurate with experience)

Job Overview

Our busy, established Melrose general practice law firm is seeking a skilled Real Estate Paralegal with at least 5+ years of experience in residential real estate.

This role is ideal for a versatile professional who excels at managing the lifecycle of a real estate transaction—from P&S through Post-Closing. We are looking for a team player who is dependable, responsive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

$40,000 - $70,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Real Estate Mastery: Manage all aspects of residential real estate closings, ensuring total accuracy and timeliness.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for lenders, real estate agents, and buyers/sellers to ensure a seamless closing experience.
• Title & Software Management: Order, review, and use title examinations to create a Title Commitment and address and resolve minor title issues, and oversee discharge tracking.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize Qualia (our primary closing software) and Eclose (our prior software for older matters) to manage files and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of practical experience in residential real estate law.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Qualia is highly preferred. Must be skilled in Microsoft Office Suite; Google Suite experience is a plus.
• Adaptability: Proven ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative, proactive team member.
• Legal Versatility: Prior experience in Family Law or litigation is a significant asset.
• Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.
