Position Details:

• Assists the director with daily activities and operation within the nutrition and food service department (primarily on the Perham Health campus).
• Assist with assuring policies and procedures are followed, work direction and instruction to employees for the preparation and distribution of nutritional and quality meals to patients, residents and guests.
• Performs sanitation reviews to assure compliance with sanitary and safety standards.
• Participates in the selection and management of employees including educating and training on facility and regulatory guidelines and requirements.
• Assists with the adherence to the annual budget and financial goals, including the purchasing and distributing of food and equipment.
• Assists with position coverage as needed.

What You Offer:

• Knowledge of nutrition and food principles, food purchasing, food service techniques and food safety guidelines.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to assist the director within the department as well as facilitate and foster positive working relationships.
• Must be certified in ServSafe food safety program or be able to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• A minimum of 5 years food service experience.

Work Schedule:

• 80 hours per bi-weekly pay period
• Primarily Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (May require various hours for unusual circumstances.)
• 8 hour shifts
