Golf Course Maintenance

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled person to join our golf course maintenance team. This role is essential for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of all our maintained turf (roughly 90 acres (greens, tees, fairways, and rough)). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding/willingness to learn maintenance practices for a championship golf course. This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our grounds. We will train and develop any individual that is willing to learn and be a part of our great team.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular golf course maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, blowing, raking bunkers, and many other tasks that are involved with everyday maintenance.
• Utilize hand tools such as rakes, shovels, and pruners for various golf course tasks.
• Operate power tools safely for tasks such as cutting and shaping plants or clearing debris.
• Assist in planting new flowers, shrubs, or trees as needed to enhance the landscape.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Team members will need to be willing to work weekend mornings (mow and go)

Experience

• Previous experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping is preferred but not required.
• Ability/willingness to learn/operate various hand tools and power equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in work performed.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
