Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble meals following established recipes and dietary guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Assist with menu planning by contributing creative ideas that meet nutritional standards and guest preferences.
  • Handle food with care, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination.
  • Support food presentation and plating to enhance visual appeal for fine dining experiences.
  • Participate in food preparation activities such as chopping, cooking, baking, and portioning ingredients efficiently.
  • Maintain proper food handling procedures during service, including serving guests with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal delivery and exceptional customer service during catering or restaurant operations.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred.
  • Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen experience within the food industry or restaurant settings.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
  • Skills in menu planning, meal preparation, and culinary techniques including knife skills.
  • Experience with food service operations, catering, or fine dining environments is advantageous.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in meal presentation.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to support collaborative work environments. Pay: $ $28.50 per hour
