Housekeeping Inspector

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeping Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure that all cleaning standards are met and maintained across our facilities, contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This role is essential in upholding the highest levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction within our hospitality or institutional settings. The Housekeeping Inspector will play a key role in supervising cleaning operations, conducting inspections, and providing feedback to housekeeping staff. Prior experience in hotel, janitorial, or custodial services is highly valued.

Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
• Identify areas needing attention or improvement and communicate findings effectively to housekeeping staff.
• Verify that all cleaning tasks have been completed according to established protocols.
• Monitor the use of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure proper handling and efficiency.
• Assist in training new housekeeping staff on inspection procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and report any issues or damages observed during inspections.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement quality control procedures.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations during all cleaning activities.
• Support the overall cleanliness initiatives by providing guidance on best practices for cleaning, floor care, and custodial tasks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or custodial work; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods.
• Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for cleanliness standards.
• Ability to inspect multiple areas efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Good communication skills for providing clear feedback and instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.

Pay: $ $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
