Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Level 3.1 Substance Abuse Treatment facility. This role is essential in ensuring that residents receive high-quality care in a safe and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in working directly with clients in early recovery, providing structure and support to all clients seeking to establish stable long-term recovery from a substance use disorder.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Supervise and manage daily operations of the residential facility, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
  • Ensure that all resident rights are respected and upheld, creating a culture of dignity and respect within the facility.
  • Supervise clients in the assignment of duties that contribute to the upkeep of the living space.
  • Act as liaison between the management staff and clients.
  • Prepare/cook nutritional meals for dinner Monday through Friday for residents
  • Facilitate clients with laundry schedule and responsibilities.
  • Facilitate communication between residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders to enhance the quality of life for residents.
  • Manage refrigerator/freezer logs
  • Review shift log at beginning of each shift and complete shift log at the end of shift
  • Administer evening medications to residents

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing residential facilities such as Substance Abuse Treatment facilities.
  • Strong understanding of patient rights and responsibilities
  • Medication Technician - Certified by the State of Maryland
  • Excellent mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse population.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with residents, families, and staff members compassionately.
  • Relevant certifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or willingness to obtain GED within 6 months- one year
  • Must have 2 or more years of sustained recovery from a substance use disorder.
  • Must have Basic First Aid, CPR, , and drug testing procedures.
  • Medication Technician - Certified by the State of Maryland
  • Require maintaining a visible presence in the Recovery Residence, including being present in the residence during assigned shift.
  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills (i.e. Microsoft Word ).
  • Knowledge of community resources.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour
