Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, promoting literacy education, and implementing behavior management strategies to support the growth and development of preschool-aged children.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
- Educate students in foundational skills such as literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development.
- Provide individualized support to students, including those with diverse learning needs.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student development and address any concerns.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that promotes health and well-being.
Experience
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is essential.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other early childhood education philosophies is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care and behavior management techniques.
- Experience in literacy education and standardized testing for early learners is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
