Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced cook/clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, culinary arts, and dietary support, with a focus on providing exceptional meal preparation and service in a professional environment. Duties

• Prepare and serve meals according to menu specifications, ensuring high-quality food presentation and taste
• Assist with menu planning and meal customization based on dietary needs and preferences
• Handle food safely, following all food handling and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
• Support kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes
• Maintain proper knife skills for efficient and safe food prep
• Assist with catering events and special meal services as required
• Serve food to clients or guests in a courteous and professional manner
• Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during preparation, serving, and storage processes
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely meal delivery

Experience

• Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
• Experience working in restaurants, catering, or the food industry is preferred
• Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety protocols is essential
• Proven skills in food handling, cooking, and food service operations
• Strong knife skills and experience with culinary techniques are advantageous
• Background in food preparation, kitchen work, or related roles demonstrating reliability and professionalism

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
