ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Job Coach, you will work one-on-one with individuals with disabilities, supporting them as they pursue their personal and professional goals. This role is both enriching and rewarding. You'll have the opportunity to witness firsthand the positive impact you make, not only at your participant's worksite but also in their personal growth and confidence

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide our participants with safe, short-distance transportation to and from job sites.
- Support adults with disabilities at work & in the community
- Teach job skills, social skills, and provide advice on adult independence
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of progress reports
- Communicate thorough details with the CM team to ensure safety and success throughout each participant
- Showcase a positive, uplifting, and motivating energy to ensure proper engagement from our participants
QUALIFICATIONS
- Having a patient, positive, and calm attitude around our participants
- Strong punctuality, reliability, and organizational skills
- Effective communicator both orally and in writing
- Basic understanding of smartphone apps and GPS tracking systems
- Physically able to stand 4–6 hours
- Open to feedback and growth
BONUS SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge in working with adults with disabilities with specific behavioral needs
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willing to train)
- Background in education, psychology, social work, vocational training, or customer service (retail, restaurant, hospitality, janitorial, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma/GED (College education preferred)
- Reliable vehicle: must have passed inspection twice a year
- Valid driver's license, insurance, & clean record
- Able to pass background check & drug test
- Reliable smartphone with GPS and efficient texting capabilities
Schedule
- Monday–Friday (no weekends)
- Hours: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (flexible shifts, typically 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM)

- Are you willing to adhere to our dress code and grooming policy, which includes covering tattoos and removing facial piercings during work hours?
- We do not operate on weekends. Job coach hours are typically 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. What is your current availability during these hours?
- Do you have a reliable vehicle with a valid California driver's license, registration, and insurance? Are you comfortable driving up to 15 miles within Orange County, and do you have any travel or scheduling limitations we should be aware of?
