Eye Level of Mount Prospect, a Private Tutoring start-up business has been growing with the needs of the parents. With one full year of successful operation, the tutoring center is expanding its wonderful existing staff with additional part-time Math Tutors/Instructors & Graders who have strong Analytical, skills and relevant credentials. Math tutors/instructors use Eye Level designed curriculum to instruct in a group setting and also provide individual tutoring, grading of answer sheets when required. You will be trained to use the Eye Level curriculum and provide personalized Math instructions in the content areas including Analytical, Critical Thinking. Continual learning in the subject is a mandatory term of job. If you aspire to inspire, then we want you on our team.

The students at Eye Level range from Elementary to Middle School. You may not teach all levels, but expected to have a caliber and willingness to teach any of these classes.
Responsibilities include:
Providing excellent customer service and in-depth knowledge of our programs
Working with provided curriculum to individualize programming for each student
Daily parent interaction regarding student progress
Managing a safe and fun classroom environment
Administrative duties
Tracking student progress and monitoring student enrollment
Providing guidance to a team of instructors to deliver outstanding service
Assisting center director in any other areas, including the occasional educational workshops for students as needed.
Required Skills / Job Attributes:
People with good Analytical & Critical thinking skills with good ability to solve and explain at least up to high school level math problems
Passion for working with children and helping them achieve success and confidence
Professional and friendly demeanor, with an enthusiastic personality to ensure that a student's time at Eye-level is memorable
Ability to learn fast and function effectively in a team-oriented environment
Flexible to work in the Evening (after school hours) &/or the Weekends
Math & English language competency test is required as part of the hiring process.
Additional Preferred Skills:
Able to communicate (both Written and Verbal) effectively with students, parents, and co-workers.
Excellent Operational Skills
Strong people skills
Teaching Experience: 1 year or more
Experience in supplemental education sales a plus
Background check required upon hire.
