Litigation Associate

A well-established full-service law firm in Atlanta, GA is seeking a motivated
Litigation Associate
to join its team. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys across various practice areas, handle substantive litigation work early on, and grow within a collaborative and professional environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in all phases of litigation, including research, drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
• Manage case files from inception through resolution with supervision as needed
• Conduct and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and court conferences
• Prepare legal memoranda and trial briefs
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on strategic case development
• Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel in a professional manner

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active Georgia Bar membership in good standing
• 2-5 years of litigation experience preferred (civil or commercial litigation experience is a plus)
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively under pressure
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills

The annual salary for this position is between ($120,000 – $160,000). Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
