Cook-Early Learning Center

Grace Christian Child Care is seeking a Cook, Food Specialist, who is responsible for overall food preparation for the school's enrolled children. The position is Mon- Fri with full-time or part-time hours available depending upon the right candidate's needs. Shift time is between the hours of 6:30am-2:30pm.

As a Food Specialist, you will:

• Create home-style, nutritional meal plans within budget and following state and federal requirements for up to 90 children
• Prepare meals/snacks for children and staff and distribute food to the classrooms
• Keep kitchen clean and orderly
• Maintain inventory of food and supplies and order/shop as needed
• Assist in classrooms if desired

Job Requirements:

• Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation preferred
• A willingness to learn and adhere to all current state and local regulations
• Ability to lift 30+ pounds, bending, carrying, standing, and driving
• Age 18 or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Complete background checks
• Valid Driver's License
