POSITION SUMMARY:
- AMS Vans and Mobility is seeking a driven and results-oriented Commercial Sales Manager to lead the growth of our commercial sales channel. This role is focused on business development, identifying, developing, and closing new commercial opportunities while expanding and strengthening existing local relationships. The ideal candidate is a proactive hunter with strong relationship-building skills and experience navigating commercial bids, fleet opportunities, and complex sales cycles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive growth of AMS Vans' commercial fleet sales through strategic business development initiatives
- Prospect and qualify new commercial customers, fleet buyers, and organizational accounts
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline from initial outreach through close
- Coordinate and manage commercial bids, RFPs, and contract opportunities
- Build, maintain, and expand long-term customer relationships and key accounts
- Identify new market opportunities and verticals for commercial vehicle solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, finance, and production) to ensure accurate proposals and timely delivery
- Increase brand awareness through networking, customer visits, and industry engagement
- Represent AMS Vans at trade shows, industry events, conferences, and customer meetings
- Track sales activity, forecasts, and performance metrics using CRM tools
- Travel up to 50% to meet customers, attend trade shows, and support business development efforts
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in commercial sales, business development, or fleet sales (automotive or mobility industry preferred)
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
- Experience coordinating bids, RFPs, or contract-based sales
- Ability to build trust and credibility with decision-makers at multiple organizational levels
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience selling vehicles, fleet solutions, or B2B mobility products
- Knowledge of fleet sales models and commercial buying processes
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
