Role Description

This is a per diem role for a Hospice Nurse, located in Glendale, AZ. As a Hospice Nurse, you will deliver compassionate care to patients by providing direct nursing care, administering medications, and managing symptoms associated with end-of-life care. You will work collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring comfort and dignity. Additionally, you will provide guidance and emotional support to families throughout the hospice care journey.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Palliative Care, Direct Patient Care, and Medicine
• Skills and experience in Nursing and Home Care
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona
• Previous experience in hospice or palliative care is highly desirable
• Ability to work in a sensitive and respectful manner with diverse patient populations
• Basic life support (BLS) certification and knowledge of hospice regulations and standards
