Medical Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support clinical and administrative functions across our DME servie line. This role requires a versatile individual capable of providing exceptional patient care while efficiently managing administrative tasks within a fast-paced medical environment. The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality healthcare delivery.

Duties

• Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms
• Operate EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient information and medical records
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas in compliance with safety standards and HIPAA regulations
• Support administrative functions such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling patient service inquiries

Requirements

• Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and ICD coding
• Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations including geriatrics and pediatric patients.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and clinical support tasks

Pay: $ $26.82 per hour
