Pop's Gym is a boutique, limited-membership fitness facility in Fort Worth, and we're looking for a Gym Manager / Operations Lead to take full ownership of daily operations, member experience, and gym performance.

This role replaces our Membership Coordinator position and expands it significantly. We are looking for someone who is organized, personable, self-motivated, and a true go-getter. This position is for someone who wants to assist operate the gym, not just work the front desk.

Role Overview

As Gym Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Day-to-day operations of Pop's Gym
  • Membership sales and retention
  • Staff coordination and scheduling
  • Member experience and community presence
  • Implementing systems and processes to keep the gym running smoothly

You will be the point person for the gym and a key decision-maker, working closely with ownership while operating independently.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Management

  • Oversee daily gym operations and ensure a clean, organized, professional facility
  • Manage schedules, coverage, and basic staff coordination
  • Identify inefficiencies and improve systems, processes, and workflows
  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed consistently
  • Act as the on-site leader and problem solver

Membership Sales & Growth

  • Responsible for new membership goals and overall company objectives
  • Attain or exceed individual and team sales goals
  • Prospect potential new members through tours, follow-ups, and outreach
  • Maintain relationships with current members and prospective members
  • Support marketing, referrals, and lead generation efforts
  • Represent Pop's Gym at community events and local partnerships

Member Experience & Retention

  • Deliver a high-level, personalized member experience
  • Be visible, approachable, and engaged with members daily
  • Handle member questions, concerns, and feedback professionally
  • Foster a strong sense of community and accountability within the gym

Qualifications

  • Previous sales or customer-facing experience preferred (fitness industry a plus)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and reliable
  • Personable, confident, and professional communicator
  • Competitive mindset with a desire to exceed goals
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions
  • Eager to learn, coachable, and adaptable
  • Enjoys working in a small, tight-knit team environment
  • Professional appearance

This Role Is NOT For Someone Who:

  • Needs constant supervision
  • Is uncomfortable with sales or accountability
  • Avoids responsibility or leadership
  • Wants a purely administrative or desk-only job

Pay: $50, $78,000.00 per year
